Antonio Conte, 85, of Rocky Hill, CT, died at Hartford Hospital December 22, 2013. Born in Hartford, Antonio was an active and dedicated member of St. James R.C. Church. A totally selfless man, he lived to serve others and to give to anyone in need. He was an ever present personality around his church, not only at daily Mass but helping with work projects, or anything that needed doing. He was a member of the Precious Jesus Prayer Group and a committed activist in support of the unborn. A giving, caring man, Tony freely shared whatever he had with friends, family, neighbors and strangers. He is survived by his sister, Marie Conte, of Los Angeles, CA. He also leaves five nephews and two nieces, Mark, David, Michael and Jonathon King, Lisa Nowak, Valerie King and Paul Conte. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. James Church, 767 Elm Street, in Rocky Hill on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through St. James Church to organizations who support the unborn. |
